Whenever I get the opportunity, I love to make stationery. When I got married in 2010 I created my own. The initial design was created in Illustrator and then printed onto pearlescent card. Diamanté were added and then inserted into pocketfolds. They were finished off with a handmade ribbon and buckle and posted in co-ordinating envelopes.
I then applied the theme of the invitations to handmade favour boxes that contained our homemade soap, place cards, table plan, table numbers and menus.
A family friend asked me to create her wedding stationery. Her wedding scheme was ivory, red and butterflies. I incorporated the effect of watercolour into the design and printed on a gorgeous Conqueror textured card to make the watercolour butterflies and text look authentic. The design was applied to the table plan, place cards, table names and menus.
